NAHBS was pretty amazing, as usual. It’s definitely a trade show worth visiting. Don Walker does a solid job promoting the show, charges reasonable vendor and attendee fees, and being a builder himself just gets it. The thing I like best about NAHBS is the raw honesty that goes into the show and it’s machines. It’s hours of work, years of experience, dirt and grit. These guys hands are literally dirty because of what’s sitting in their 10×10 foot expo space. The guys working the floor are the guys that built the machines and there’s not many industry trade shows where that happens. They’re not salespeople, not slick, not misleading, and often times, kinda awkward. It’s refreshing.
